Well,
I know I've been out and about and have left some of you out there wondering where I went. (I'm sorry, and I apologize profusely.) Though, while checking my myspace (yes I know, I've become a victim of it too), I've come cross something very interesting which I think concerns all of us artists.
Apparently legislation is trying to pass a law to make it okay for people to rip us. Legally might I add.

I won't elaborate on it too much considering I would end as angry as I was when I first read this article. Not only is it stealing, it means that we are no longer protected because of art we make? And having to pay someone for registration at a ' private agency' to get some rights, even though those rights are literally taken away? Mind you, let me put this in better terms.

It's like if I were to go into your house and steal something from you; obviously you could be mad as hell and try and sue me. Though if we did go to court together I could tell you that what you had was 'orphaned' and apparently the court would take my side. Now, do you think this is morally right? As creatives I know most of us make a living doing what we do and providing others to aesthetically pleasing things to look at. Though up and stealing things with no consent is not something I take lightly especially when it comes to my own art.

So if you are as mad as I am (assuming you read the article) then I suggest we spread the word and take what is rightfully ours and let it stay that way. You can go here to sign a petition. We may look at ourselves as one person, but as a whole we make a hell of a lot more of a difference.
